Brrr!!!!!!!!!!!! !

So we cruised across "the middle"  on our favorite road the 90, which we have been on since Boston nearly 2 weeks prior. Sometimes its nice making a left turn or a right turn but unfortunately for us the 90 is as strait as an arrow.

We made our way down to the Wind Cave National Park where we would celebrate my birthday along with exploring one of the first of our National Parks. Turns out Wind Cave is the fourth longest cave system in the world, spanning 129 miles!

The day started great with a nice hardy breakfast of SPAM, pancakes and eggs. Any camper would love to have that sort of start. We proceeded to take a hike about the prairie and the forest. The tricky bison started their own trails and we followed them mistakenly a couple of times. Then we made our way to the Wind Cave, where we got to see the Box Work Wind Cave is known for. The real topper came when we had diner. Nearly canceled due to rain, we enjoyed Apple Pie, BRCs and fire roasted sweet corn all around a free campfire! Life doesn't get any better.
