Wilsons Promontory National Park
Just this past weekend we had our first camping experience for the 2012 year. It was to say the least very exciting. We looove camping, we looove hiking and we looove taking photos. Very successful trip, everyone came back with all limbs intact with only minor blood loss occurring from the wicked crazy wombats. Since we probably wouldn't be able to describe it better than the government of Victoria, we'll just mention what they said. "The Prom is one of Victoria’s most-loved places. At the southernmost tip of mainland Australia, it offers spectacular scenery of huge granite mountains, open forest, rainforest, sweeping beaches and coastlines. Great bushwalks extend from under an hour to over three days. The waters surrounding the Prom are protected as a marine national park and marine park and offer outstanding diving."
